Omfg. This place. This chef. When you go to a place where you know the chef loves to eat even more than he loves to cook... you know you are in for a treat. Great little ambiance and the food is top notch. And that’s putting it mildly. If I ever come to Fukui again it’ll likely be to eat here.Highly recommend everything, but the carbonara is like nothing I’ve ever had. He adds fried scallions and shaved truffles, and I seriously don’t think I’ve ever eaten anything this flavorful in my life.My wife had the tagliatelle with duck Ragu and smoked ricotta. It almost beats the carbonara but they are both the best two Italian meals I have ever had. Anyways. If you are in Fukui. Stop in here. I promise you’ll be happy.
